Terms and Conditions

A booking is considered confirmed upon receipt of this signed terms and conditions, completed booking form and payment of the room hire as a deposit ($400). We accept cash, Bank transfer or credit cards. Confirmation of final numbers and menu options must be confirmed 7 days prior to your function.

Any cancellation made within a period of four (4) weeks of the date of the function will forfeit the deposit. If the function is booked less then 30 days prior to the function date then the deposit will be forfeited.

Minors are only permitted on the premises in the company of their parent or legal guardian. Minors are to remain in the venue and are to be supervised at all times, including whilst using facilities such stairwell, foyers and restrooms.

CLEANING FEE

The host/organiser is financially responsible if any of his/her guests vomit, defecate or urinate within the building and cause damage. A fee of $120.00 per incident will be charged to the credit card which is given as security before the event. 

Please be advised that organisers are financially responsible for any damage, theft, breakage or vandalism sustained to the venue by guests, invitees or other persons attending the function. Should any extra cleaning be required to return the premise to a satisfactory standard, this will be charged to the client. The venue does not accept responsibility for damage or loss of merchandise left at the venue prior to, during, or after the function. It is recommended that all client’s goods be removed from the venue immediately after the function. 

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL

McAdams Wine Bar enforces at all times the Responsible Service of Alcohol in line with Victoria Liquor Licensing requirements. Last Drinks will be called 30 mins before your function commences, all guests must leave the premises by 1am.

Furthermore, management have the right to refuse service of alcohol to any persons they believe to be intoxicated. In the unlikely event a guest is asked to leave a function due to intoxication or antisocial behaviour, no refund can be offered. It is the function organiser’s responsibility to conduct their guests in an orderly manner. If an organiser has booked a function on falsified information, the venue reserves the right to cancel the function without notice and at the expense of the host.

SECURITY

Some events will require additional security made available at a cost to the organiser. These costs will be provided by McAdams wine bar at the time of booking.

PAYMENT OF ACCOUNT

All accounts will be charged a fee of 1.65% when paying with MasterCard or Visa.
